Founded in 1756 by Royal Charter of King D. José I, Real Companhia Velha also known as the Royal Oporto Wine Company is the oldest producing and shipping Porto House. Royal Oporto is the House´s internacional brand and has built in the last two centuries an honrourable reputation amongst the most discerning Port lovers.
Its´ century old cellars, of over 100.000m2, carefully store a wide selection of Tawny Ports ageing in casks, as well as the first class Vintages Ports, enhancing continuously the prestige and reputation that our house has enjoyed for more than 250 years.
